Message if I thought I was going to be the one doing the work on it, or
was even planning on buying something for the purpose of
modifying the motor extensively. If you can live with the way
the driveline comes from the factory, by all accounts from
most Porsche owners I have come across, they are extremely
rewarding cars to play with.

I personally would be game for an early model Boxster S, and
just beef up the brakes, tires, and suspension for track duty.

If anything I have learned with this Z, it is to keep things well
within your expertise level, otherwise you minimize fun-time as
opposed to maximizing it.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened.... I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform."
--Norman Thomas, 1944 Socialist Party Presidential Candidate

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
--Winston Churchill
